I have ordered 8 of these drives for my Synology ds1819+. The discs arrived in a well packaged box of 8 individual boxes. The boxes had a western digital stamp, but luckily the discs weren't western digital. All of these drives are brand new Hitachi Enterprise drives. I tested every drive on the bank and found no errors. Most likely, these are drives that have not passed the Hitachi quality check. But I can't say for sure. Either way, they are the perfect solution for my Synology NAS! Take a chance like I did and you should be very lucky like me.
