Review on 🎧 High-Quality Replacement Ear Pads for Bose QC35 and QC35 II headphones (Black) by Rebecca Walker

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great alternative to Bose OEM

My original Bose QC35 ear pads wore out after a few years. I looked around for a $35 Bose alternative. I chose them because of the installation tool. I swapped out a pair of earpads on an old pair of QC3s with no problem, but figured it wouldn't hurt to have a tool just in case. Holding them felt as good or even better than the original pads. The first thing that struck me was the quality of the pads themselves. Very impressive. Faux leather was soft and supple. They looked just like the OEM ones. The second thing I noticed is the mesh screen covering the real speakers and the ANC circuitry was a different color than the real thing. The original was all black, but this one was grey-black. I have the original QC35 and haven't seen the grille on the QC35 II so they may fit the newer model. Even if the color isn't the same, they fit, install, and function exactly like the original. The color difference is not a minus, just an observation. The ear pads are quick and easy to attach and fit the headphones just like the originals. The whole process, including changing the stitches, took me about 10 minutes and I didn't need any tools. I see how the tool can be useful for some. They look and fit just like the originals. They are extremely comfortable, maybe even more so than the originals. The foam feels a little firmer than the originals so they fit a bit snugger. As a result, the earplugs fit snugly against the body. head so the noise cancellation could be a bit better. The sound quality has also improved slightly. When these wear out I will definitely buy another pair. I highly recommend them even though they're not 1/3 the price of Bose.
