I used this product to transfer files from an SD card to a computer to back up images that have been converted from slides to digital format. That's great because not only does it have a USB drive side, it also has a USB-C side, which is useful as all new laptops and tablets move to USB-C. I have several Anker products and this is another product I highly recommend adding to your collection if you frequently transfer/save data from SD or MicroSD cards.
