UPDATE: Microwave broke after a week and a half of use. That's impractical. As other reviewers have complained, the doorknob is broken, the door won't stay closed. It seems to be a general problem. It is totally unacceptable that such an item should only last a week. Very disappointed. Do not buy this microwave, it will break quickly when you buy it. I had never heard of the Walsh brand before so I was skeptical about buying one. Looking through the box I saw that the microwave was made by Galanz so I'm much happier and more confident that it's a good microwave that will last. It appears to be well built and doesn't have any of those complicated gimmicks that many modern microwave ovens have. It's a simple, solid black with simple, user-friendly buttons. There are a few presets but I don't care because I never use them. Let's see how it holds up over time. I will update this review over time.
