After playing around with a cheap kit that wouldn't stay in place and would flex when my 4 year old rolled back onto the curb we got these. These are the training wheels you probably had on your bike as a kid - it says "Copyright 1981" on the box. If you still have your old set I'm sure it will still work great and you can easily swap it out for your child's bike. If not, buy a new pair. Pros: Sturdy steel legs. Horizontal stabilizing arms that do not slip. Steel wheels with steel bearings. Made in the USA. The smile on my little daughter's face when she's driving instead of struggling with broken training wheels. Cons: none (in my opinion). According to my daughter, they would be better if they were pink. I told her I would buy some paint. Buy them and let your child enjoy their bike.
