Solid product ideal for cycling

Metal thick enough to support a lot of weight. The part that keeps the wheel from turning on the shaft that wraps around the frame had to be modified to make the frame out of round, but I can't blame the manufacturer for that. I doubt anyone has a welding machine to do what I did, but it works fine with my modification of the part to enlarge the hole between the "fingers". Stop messing around with cheap junk and buy these.

After playing around with a cheap kit that wouldn't stay in place and would flex when my 4 year old rolled back onto the curb we got these. These are the training wheels you probably had on your bike as a kid - it says "Copyright 1981" on the box. If you still have your old set I'm sure it will still work great and you can easily swap it out for your child's bike. If not, buy a new pair. Pros: Sturdy steel legs. Horizontal stabilizing arms that do not slip. Steel wheels with steel bearingsโ€ฆ
