Black silicone chair glides work AWESOME! They were so easy to install - I just turned my chairs over and placed them one by one on the ottoman in my hideout and I could watch the Olympics by placing them on each leg of each chair. There was no problem with ANY of them and I quickly placed each chair in my breakfast room. Each black-painted chair glided effortlessly across the hardwood kitchen floor beneath the table. That morning, for the first time, I didn't have to wrestle with the chair and tried to keep as much of my weight off the chair as I "jumped" the chair off the table. The chair glided very well and kept most of my weight in the chair. Couldn't be happier. (Each of my breakfast chairs has rounded front legs and squared back legs, every 5 inches around the perimeter at the base.)
