The product description clearly states "Suitable for artificial trees with 2" or smaller pole." Our wooden pole is 1.25" tall and this base has two bolts/screws on one side of the pole. This artificial tree stands will result in SIGNIFICANT unsafe wobbles and stability that could hurt our children!Even if the artificial tree is set up exactly as directed, it will wobble a lot.What good is a solid base if it doesn't protect the wood properly?!?I would Give this item 0 stars if possible.
