Review on Pelican 1300 Camera Case With Foam (Orange) by Anthony Starr

Fantastic case, as on the market. Seems to be very durable. Put it in a bucket under water overnight and it will stay dry inside. This review is more about an older version of one of their cases. It doesn't have a model number on it but it's about 18 x 13 x 7. Got it in 1980 and it failed but it still works. I have used it for years when guiding canoe trips in the Everglades - salt water - and it has rocked on the bottom of the canoe and none of my cameras have been damaged. It's been hit by a jeep once and again with no damage to it or its contents (not to mention you should try it at home). Still has the original O-ring and is still waterproof. The only reason for a new one is that I needed a smaller one for travel. The only minor flaw with the old one is that the clips holding it closed can catch on something and pop open. I see they changed the clips on the new one a bit and maybe that will solve the problem.
