The filler neck to gas tank connection is an unusual installation on early 1937 Ford vehicles. To do this, unscrew the sleeve on the filler neck which is bolted to the gas tank itself. When removing this hose to carefully remove the gas tank from the car, this tool was invaluable. It hooks perfectly into the sleeve openings and is compact enough to work in tight spaces. The benefit to anyone not planning to remove a gas tank from an early '37 Ford is that the product is very strong and can withstand the force required to unscrew a bolted joint made in December 1936. Highly recommended.
