I bought this for my 1999 F150 Extended Cab 4x4 5.4L. Walker 21292 Quiet Flow Stainless Steel. Size description is a bit misleading. I think the length of 36 inches corresponds to the size of the box. The muffler body is slightly oval, and the inlet and outlet are slightly off-center. The inlet and outlet have an inner diameter of 2.5 inches. Case length 22 inches. Overall length is probably 26 inches. There are no hangers or brackets attached to the Walker muffler. Unfortunately, my original muffler body is 26 inches long, so the Walker is about 4 inches shorter. You need an extra tube. (I used my saw to pry open the old muffler and used about 4" of pipe from inside the old muffler - no adapters needed.) And the OEM muffler has a couple of hanger bars welded on. I have to do something for Walker. The good news for me was that OEM tubing has an outside diameter of about 2.5 inches. A little grinding and heating and the Walker slid right into place.
