Maybe it's just the nature of these types of bottles, but I did NOT expect it and I didn't enjoy using them. I ordered these for a theme park trip where I knew we would be walking around and water would be $5 a bottle. In truth, it's because they don't want you to buy millions of bottles of water. You don't want to get rid of all your discarded plastic. I figured it would be an easy way to keep it in your pocket for convenience when drawing water from the fountains, but that didn't help. First off, it's tiny. OK, whatever. But I mean, a few sips and the water's gone. Second, the water tasted disgusting when drinking from these bottles. How to drink dirty old plastic. Terrible. We rinsed and rinsed and rinsed the bottles, couldn't get rid of the taste. You have to bite the top of these bottles to get the water to flow out - in a specific way, at a specific angle, with a specific amount of force. That specificity is hard to achieve in part, because when the bottle isn't filled with water and air, it collapses (as it should, yes), and you're trying to hold on to that puddle inside and take a sip from it. It's crazy. Once you take your first sip from this bottle, things get more complicated. Forget about getting it on the ground in any fancy or quick way. Too bad they ended up in the trash. The taste of the water I drank from them will haunt me forever, and the rigors of moments left in the sun with a flexible, whimsical water bottle are theme park memories better forgotten. I do not recommend this product at all and strongly recommend that you only use a regular water bottle unless you absolutely need it for a specific purpose. Even then, I checked other brands that didn't have any flavor issues. It's really, really not good.
