My 2003 Sierra just hit 200,000 on the original spool so I figured it would be a good service item to replace. Please note that all my originals still work. They were delivered very quickly and were all intact but loosely packaged with minimal padding so could easily break as other comments have said. The quality honestly seems below average, 6 out of 8 are loose on the steel part and can wobble and slide up and down on it which doesn't promise any durability or build quality. However, I installed them to test and they all seem to work. They have a noticeably weaker spark as the originals slip through a solid 1 inch gap while they can have a half inch. I'll drive my truck for a week or two and see if there's a drop in performance or (unlikely) increase. So I drove 18 miles and that was enough to tell me everything I needed to know. The packages came off and sent them back. Performance was terrible, seemed smooth at idle and no load, but one day it stuttered and disappeared like crazy. The old packages are back for now.
