Review on Acuvar 3100mAh NiMH High πŸ”‹ Capacity AA Rechargeable Batteries (Pack of 4) by Brooke Daniels

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Poor performance at 57% of rated capacity (1758mAh)

Tested at a horrific 57% of rated capacity or an average of 1758mAh, the second worst capacity after the eerily similar XIT cells. While it's possible that I had defective cells, I doubt it as they were also a secondary concern. I tested 4 cells and here are the specs I measured on average per cell: Capacity: 1758 mAh Nominal Capacity Percent: 56.7% Capacity Percent Standard Deviation: 1.7% (indicates the difference in capacity between 4 cells. ) Cost per Ah: $1.13 (as of September 14, 2016) Weight: 25 g (0.8875 oz) I know prices can vary wildly, but I've included an estimate to emphasize what's important to account for the cost of Ah (or mAh) of cells. After all, you end up looking for power storage, not little jars of chemicals. If it is representative of these cells as a whole, then it is plagiarism. Hence the 1 star rating.

Pros
  • 4 x AA ultra high capacity batteries
Cons
  • Have been damaged
