I have a year with this regulator. I started with just 400w panels and then expanded to 800w. I had a battery drain issue if I had too many cloudy days in a row, so I added more panels. I've gotten up to 1200 watts, which is higher than the controller's rating, but it still works fine. In my area, it's unlikely you'll ever get maximum output from your solar panels. The controls were ok. This was easy to set up with MT50. I've never played around with connecting to a PC until recently, but it works fine. You need to have some computer skills to make it work. Once configured, it works great and makes parameter changes and monitoring much easier. The controller seems to be handling MPPT as it should. I have the panels in a 4s3p circuit so my max is around 80 volts and 16.5 amps. I realize this is a bit more than recommended, but it works and I'm switching to a larger controller (EPEVER 50a) as I will be adding more panels. I've read other reviews of other controllers that mentioned low voltage and high current situations, but I've never seen this happen with this unit. It does a good job of charging my battery. I have 7.2 kW usable power. It also seems to adapt to the weak light of the morning and evening sun. I do not regret buying this machine. I have already purchased a higher capacity replacement and will fit it once I fit the new panels.
