Apple Watch has a notoriously short battery life, especially when charging and running background apps and resource-intensive apps like Strava, Audible, Spotify, etc. I've found that a cable doesn't It doesn't fit nearly enough, so I kept the original on the charging dock in our family room, which looks like a poorly made plate of pasta, and bought a second cord and this nifty device for my relatively clutter-free bedside table. It reminds me to take my watch off before showering and charge it overnight so it's fresh in the morning. The ONLY thing I don't like (my fault, not theirs) is the color. I bought pink thinking it would match my rose gold watch, but it's pastel pink and looks like it belongs in a child's bedroom. Should have gone with black, had to go with black Otherwise works well and stores excess cable neatly. Black is not needed.
