I love this yarn. It's soft, smooth and doesn't knot. Inside the strands *there* are a few tiny knots, but that's how they make subtle color changes. This is a 4 ply yarn and with each color change 1 thread is replaced with the next color. My last purchase of this yarn was color 256 (gradient from blue to green). There was a slight color difference from the photos. The blues are a deep turquoise blue/green rather than a light blue and the greens are a bit more electric than the photos. It's still a nice ball of yarn, so it's definitely going to be used!
