Nephew's Favorite Visiting Toy

I bought this toy among many others for my nephew who was less than a year old. It is and will remain his favorite to this day. When he approaches his toy chest, he grabs it first, even more so than other trucks. At 10 months and now at 13 months, his fine motor skills are so advanced that he cannot push the shaped blocks into the holes. But he enjoys taking them in and out of the big asshole, opening and closing the valve, opening and closing the driver's area, taking the driver in and out, playing with it, installing blocks with it, and generally experimenting. Of course, there's also the joy of pushing a cart, tipping a concrete mixer, etc. It'll continue to challenge and grow with you for a while. I was also very satisfied with the quality of the product. My only criticism is that there is a very short thin red thread attached to the front of the truck. I don't feel like it serves a purpose. My nephew loves ropes attached to rolling toys but he never bothered. It's too short and flimsy to serve any practical purpose. Carefree in a very well thought-out product. I'll be buying another one to have on hand for a quick baby gift when I'm going to a baby shower or visiting a friend.
