I'm taking this base to replace another, the main reason is that you have 45 degrees in the base so you have more vertical reach, on the other hand you have to move your monitor base towards it limit and everything. Another reason is that this one is more open at the base so there is more ventilation. I would like better support in the corners, even if you don't use the anti slip support it doesn't feel like it's really in the right position, it probably depends on the laptop model, the top strap this helps.
