I was immediately struck by the strength of this film: it's much thicker than I expected. Despite the thickness, installation was fairly easy. A few short sections at the edges of my film will not be entirely smooth, but it is imperceptible from the outside. (We'll see if this leads to delamination over time, especially as the weather gets colder.) I watched a few videos online on installing window film before applying this to myself, and it definitely has helped. Measure twice, cut twice (once for a rough size and once to fit a window), wash the windows thoroughly and use some soapy water so you can reposition the film if you don't line it up correctly on the first try . Overall it looks good (if you like the 1950s shower door style) and attractively hides our side recycling area from prying eyes.
