The only reason I bother to write anything is to explain how I finally got the tool working, to everyone , who decides to buy it and finds out the details work. don't go together. My problem was that the bearing drive did not fit on the shaft. It fits the bearing as expected, but not the shaft as you might think. I noticed when trying to use it anyway that a very thin aluminum sliver was coming out from the inside of the bearing driver. After about an hour with a block of wood and a 3 pound hammer I was unable to install the shaft. I ended up taking a dremel and widening the center a bit. I tried again and tightened it enough to actually line it up. Unfortunately, when I hammered the bearing onto the shaft, I eventually broke through the driver. I apologize because I can't take it off anymore. At least the alignment tools themselves aren't too expensive. I now have a $100 bearing installer that cannot be used for anything else. At least I'm back on the water.
