Buttons are ok. - Portable audio and video equipment

Works great. There is static sound when playing the recording, but your voice is fairly loud and clear. I don't really recommend using them on dogs as the sounds linger a bit or they won't play if you don't press hard enough. So if your dog, like mine, is constantly clicking, the sound may only play once even after pressing 5-6 times, or it may not play at all. And if your dog is very gentle, you might need something more touch-sensitive.
