Review on 💯 Reliable and Fast MaxDigitalData 4TB HDD for Surveillance CCTV DVR with 2-Year Warranty by Mike Ken

After a few months of use, I have decided to change my rating from 5 stars to 2 stars because I believe this hard drive does not meet the manufacturer's or seller's specifications or is of poor quality. Recently my neighbor's truck trailer was stolen from his driveway, my security cameras unfortunately caught this incident, now I understand that although the information is stored on the hard drive, the hard drive has major playback problems aside from making horrible noises . It is very slow to receive information when fast forwarding, rewinding, slowing down, etc. The NVR freezes several times because of this, which causes a reboot. It's almost impossible to look at two cameras at the same time as it makes the disc difficult to work with and it becomes very slow to respond or just stops playing when a second camera is selected. The hard drive I replaced it with never had these problems and had a speed of 5400, which is much slower than this hard drive. I ran a SMART test on this hard drive and it passed all of them, so my only guess is that it's just not designed to last long or retrieve information quickly. I no longer think it was a good buy and will be replacing it with a branded disc so I know the true performance and quality. Used it to replace a 500GB hard drive that was originally for my LTS security NVR. The hard drive is a rebrand from Western Digital. The hard drive has been in use for several months without any problems, missing files or lags. Also very quiet. So far I'm very happy with the choice of this hard drive, the price-performance ratio can hardly be surpassed.
