Great approach to our chinchilla

We got 6 years. an old chinchilla from a family member who couldn't keep him anymore and we were gifted a nice cage with plastic tabs. Chinchi (that's his name) gnaws on ledges and one breaks. I couldn't find a replacement online but this wooden platform looked good to me so I gave it a try. Despite chewing it on all sides, he's still holding onto it. This is Chinci's favorite ledge; it doesn't even sit on top of plastic anymore. Looks good, easy to clean and easy to assemble. I will definitely buy a few more. I guess eventually it will eat up the platform to the point where it's getting too small, but so far it's working great!
