Solved my wrist pain

I was skeptical about the Ergon grip. I tried the original grip many years ago but found that the platform under my hand and wrist was too large and limited my movement on the uneven bars. I bought the GA 3 a year ago because I had left wrist pain while riding. The GA 3 gives me just enough support under the heel of my hand to keep my wrist from hyperextending without overly restricting movement. My wrist pain is gone. The grip is not too firm, but offers enough softness and the material is very grippy. My only gripe (and reason for the 4 stars) is that Ergon doesn't make aluminum end caps for the GA 3. The plastic end cap is utterly useless when you're driving on a single lane road with lots of trees like this in New England, and it will fall off as soon as you hit the tree. I bought an aftermarket end cap but it doesn't protect the outside edge of the grip and is a bit nicked. Regardless, the clutch does what I need and now my rides are more comfortable.
