Worked great with a full frame camera while hiking.
This attaches very easily to my existing backpack. I have used this during over 35 miles of hiking in Glacier National Park and had no problems. Once you get used to detaching the strap, it becomes very functional. I have used the 5his on my Nikon D810 which is a full frame DSLR and even when cropped it can easily be adjusted to take horizontal photos. Best of all, I was hands free while hiking and the weight of the camera was distributed across the backpack straps.
