. This item was very well packaged. It's a great looking piece of technology. It really lit up the area I needed. What I can see through is that flies, nits and all sorts of small animals get sucked into the light, collect at the bottom of the lantern and clog the airflow holes. That's not a problem now that it's new, but we'll see. Should this prove to be a problem I will update my review on air. But first four stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Updated (June 22, 2019). A line of COB has already come out. Less than fifty hours out of the estimated fifty thousand hours. Insects have completely clogged the air intakes. An internal fan that sucks in air doesn't help either. The manufacturer said that you cannot completely close the light. The bugs are attracted to the light and get stuck in the fan intakes. Downgrading to two stars ⭐️⭐️ Update (July 16, 2019). Not a happy camper, three ears of corn are missing. The light had a protective life as instructed. Perhaps the fan is clogged by insects that have been sucked in. When you look at it, it doesn't look like it's full of bugs. I'm calling today for a replacement. I like the light so I'll try again. One star ⭐️.
