First, I purchased this with mo own money, no discount.A lot of USB C cables are not video capable. I needed this to connect my laptop to a portable USB C display. The display takes both video and power over the same connection. It is the SZOON 13.3 inch 2560 x 1440 display. I have not tested it on 4K (don't have a 4K monitor) yet. I will update the review when I do. The cable that came with the display is a 1 meter and is fairly stiff. Since I have the 2 displays as close to each other as possible I wanted a shorter cable. This one works great and is the .5 meter version. I only wish it had right angle connectors but I cannot find a cable with right angle on both ends.
