After about a year and a half the battery has settled and does not take or hold a charge. It doesn't work at all with USB as the only power source. fun while it lasted. I bought two and haven't taken the first one out of the Revain box yet, so I plan on using it for a year and a half and then I'll find something else. It has spent about 2/3 of its life as a soundbar under my TV. He's perfect for that. I never used it as a truly portable speaker after discovering how good it sounded when placed under my TV. It was also nice and small for a thin, sleek look. Update: Deducted a star because the battery can be swapped out if you have even the tiniest hand and a butter knife, Phillips screwdriver, and duct tape. 1. Remove the back panel with a butter knife to expose the screws.2. Remove screws.3. Denim chassis front mount.4. Cut off old battery cables.5. Remove the old battery.6. Put a new battery in (you may need something for a seal or it will rattle).7. Connect the battery cables.8. Dismantling is carried out in reverse order. Battery 7.4V #18650. I couldn't find the original 5400mah that was already packed together so I found the 2200mah instead (they were easy to find and cheap). This greatly reduces battery life, but I still get several hours of use at full volume.
