We were replacing another station clock that was made in China. I was always afraid it would pull off the wall, and it was made so flimsy that I was always worried when I changed batteries or the time, it would just fall apart.This new clock also made in China was a big improvement. I purchased due to the way it mounted to the wall, and I must say it was 100 percent improvement of the one it was replacing. At 17", it is a bit big for a house, but I feel I will get used to it. It is very readable. The way it opens and closes is way better than the previous clock, but it still has a sway when you install batteries and change the time. I would rate it a 4.5 stars.
