This is just a warning to be careful when ordering the Series III version of this item. I had to replace my Genie SilentMax 1000 motherboard and wall console due to a power outage. The new motherboard brought back all the features except for the wall console. A call to Genie revealed that the new motherboards are now designed to work with the Series II wall console. In other words, they reverted to a previous version. Genie understood my situation and sent me a Series II wall bracket free of charge. To be clear, if you have a Series III garage door opener with a pre-2012 motherboard and need a second wall bracket, you should order this Series III item. A CS spokesman said they reverted to the Series II wall console for new post-2012 garage door openers and replacement motherboards.
