Be careful when placing it as it almost sticks to the shower wall if you touch it. I looked at it on my desk and it started sticking to my leather desk! Luckily I was able to remove it. When I was modeling where I was going to place it in the shower, taped it to the wall and I just held it to see how it looked in that spot. Luckily I already had a pretty good idea of where I wanted to put it, so I left it there. I then went ahead and pulled the clear plastic lever to hold the mount permanently in place. It perfectly supports the weight of a regular sized shower head. Very nice product and it really works. I was a little skeptical as I've had issues in the past with vacuums just falling off the shower wall. I used CLR and a non-soap SOS pad to thoroughly wipe, clean, rinse and dry the area prior to application, which I haven't done with absorbent products in the past so it may have helped aggravate it severely keep.
