As a truck driver, I have trouble finding a phone holder that suits my needs. I hate things stuck to the window. This disturbs the view, in addition, in my opinion, the distance from the steering wheel to the window is too great. I also drive a 2019 Freightliner Casscadia P4. The dashboard design makes it impossible to glue anything without some serious glue or screws. The data center and computer are much closer together than in previous truck models, where there is no room for "traditional phone holders". I used the console mount that came with it and mounted it to my computer mount. I was then able to bend the rod exactly where I wanted. Sturdy pole, wobbled a bit but nothing that caused it to fall or slide. This is by far the best phone mount I've found for my truck. Problem: The rotating ball is made of plastic and broken. If that ball was made of metal... Oh my god. But no phone mount is made that way. This mount is expensive - prices reflect wireless charging mounts. This mount is definitely not that pretty! You are paying for this durable metal bar, which is great. However, anything beyond that mount and pole is nothing like any other phone mount you can find at Walmart.
