Untenable. on food container
I bought this bag specifically for defrosting meat as it was airtight and dishwasher safe. My family is trying to move away from single use bags and I didn't like the idea of hand washing only, with seams or creases that could harbor bacteria from raw meat. I liked the bag when it arrived and it worked great, but the second time it was washed on the top shelf of my dishwasher, the hinge mechanism on one side broke and the bag no longer closes properly. The pouch can still be used for things that don't require a full seal, but is no longer needed for the main reason I chose this product.
