I am a teacher and I hire several drunkards every day. I can't reach her when I want to because I'm teaching so it's perfect! Keeps my iced tea very cold and my hot tea very hot (I leave the lid on briefly to cool). It closes with the thread of my tea bag still hanging at the top. It never leaks and I swallow it in the pocket of my work bag every day. The ceramic interior makes my tea taste like tea! That's incredible! I have MANY vacuum sealed cups and this is the best. It even fits in my cup holder! (The only catch is that the fender is difficult to clean, but that doesn't really matter in the end)
