When I opened the box I noticed a few things. The carrying case is not very durable. The blocks are smaller than expected but work great when played on a table. I was surprised that only five or six blocks have an imprint of the logo, the rest have nothing. The wooden blocks are a bit rough, need better sanding. Several blocks have wooden nodes. walk through them. Played the first game and the blocks didn't seem to slide freely out of the stack. Quickly sanded each block with steel wool and tweaked it a bit, but some blocks seem to have different thicknesses, making some blocks difficult to pull out. The wood feels hard, but not that hard. The blocks don't seem to have a finish that I could put on my stain coat.
