Good set for fast play

Use them for quick setups in generic battles seem to work real well. Sameing time to wipe a whole map down drawn things out redraw etc. The only minus I would give them is it would have been nice to also get a selection of 2x3 and 2x6 pieces, it was the first thing grabbed for setting up hallways and such. Beyond that there nice firm board seem to work well with dry and wet erase. I was please nice addition to our game

Pros
  • Reversible feature for maximum convenience
Cons
  • Decals may peel off the tiles after heavy use

Fantastic Tiles, Not as much Dry Erase.

Great tiles for setting out the map on the go. They are very sturdy and feel like they'll last quite a while. My only complaint is the dry erase ability. I have nice dry erase markers, not those cheap ones, and I was still having some issue wiping them off these tiles. Remnants of color can definitely be seen on the white side of the tiles - so I prefer to play with the darker side of the tiles since past marks aren't quite as visible.Overall though, these are fantastic and I'll be buying more.

Pros
  • Comes with a vast number of tiles and tokens for endless game scenarios
Cons
  • May require additional accessories such as rulers to measure distances accurately

Fantastic for some of the larger maps

I wish it had a few other shapes to it (ex: 2x6) and some of the added prop pieces to decorate the map are too big (doors take up a 2x2 area, stairs are a little bigger than 1x1, and the tables are 2x3 so I've had to use the fallen log 1x3 pieces to represent tables in some cases to match the proportions that I want). Also, the edges of the tiles are just exposed, compressed cardboard so I have to be careful with my whiteboard cleaning liquid to not get the edges wet because it would just warp…

Pros
  • Grid format provides helpful guidance for map design
Cons
  • Grid lines may become indistinguishable after heavy use

We love them best in my review

I love these! Made it so easy to make up a session to explore the backstory of one of our characters. We used the wet erase markers on it, and made the town from the different colors, the stone for the road, sand color for inside the buildings, grass for surrounding areas. We have made makeshift caves, followed maps for dungeons. take off parts you have been through and slide the part you are in back, and continue.I would definitely recommend this set. The extra pieces have been very useful to…

Pros
  • The tokens are uniquely designed to fit the style of the game
Cons
  • Tokens may become worn or damaged after multiple uses

Great concept, moldy/mildew on arrival

In the early stages of a campaign and wanted to spice up my dungeon creation set up. This is exactly what I was looking for, something flexible and versatile. I opened the box and the sides of the pieces are decently moldy and gave off a mildew smell. I cleaned and dried them, but some of the pieces were just beyond repair. Will update after I’ve used them a few times, am hoping that I just got a bad batch and others haven’t had this issue.

Pros
  • The tiles are easy to handle and maneuver when in a game
Cons
  • Limited variety in tile designs

Sturdy thick pieces!

Much more thick than I expected. Bought these to use with a thin plastic battle mat and these are very thick glossed cardboard pieces. Good quality and nicely packaged. Was expecting thin flimsy plastic tiles tho not hard thick ones. Still very happy with purchase!

Pros
  • RIDDLE OF THE RUNES: Doodle the details with dry or wet erase marker, then clear the dungeon without making a mess
Cons
  • Tokens may become mixed up or misplaced during gameplay

Worth $20? Yep! - my new review

For $20, it's a pretty damn good buy. I've only received 3 out of over. 48? of these tiles that are damaged. But other than that, still a damn good buy.If I paid for $30 or over $40, I'd definitely bomb this review. Maybe even complain about it if I payed over $40.Good buy!

Pros
  • INFINITE DUNGEON: With over 1,000 square inches of 1x1 grid, the adventures never end. Nor does the danger
Cons
  • Tokens may not stay securely on the tiles during gameplay

Good stuff. for my opinion

Bought for a good friend and DM. The whole party loved them, used them several times before covid destroyed the group, will probably be using them again before long. They can be destroyed by the careless, but they're sturdy enough to last a while for those who take care of their stuff.

Pros
  • The tiles are easy to store due to its lightweight nature
Cons
  • Glossy surface may cause glare during gameplay

Ditch the Graph Paper and Try This.

I'll use these to prep a dungeon before the session and pull out segments as the group explores (I'll take a picture after I've finished making it for referencing during the session). Right now I use the parchment side for areas with natural light and the white side for dark areas they need torches, dark vision, etc. to see in. I'll also use a smaller tile and drop it on top of a larger tile already on the table for a hidden trap door, ambush, etc. It provides for versatility in design and…

Pros
  • Allows for more strategic gameplay since gridlines offer tactical placement possibilities
Cons
  • Not suitable for games without a clear grid-based system

Versatile and Easy to incorporate

Been using these in with my rollable battle mat, they are so useful for combat, puzzles, and layouts. They let our dm build a dungeon as we discover it without the need to constantly erase on the battle mat (and them being dry erase makes it really easy to remove). We use them to represent town buildings or land marks because its easier to place them than to draw on the battle mat. They can also be used with the mat to indicate different layers of a structure and different terrains. I have also

Pros
  • Can be used for any RPG game genre
Cons
  • Not suitable for games without a strong emphasis on combat and movement

Now essential to D&D games for a good price

After using this product my dungeons and dragons experience was multiplied by 100 times. As the GM I was able to actually visualize pretty much everything using dry erase markers and these tiles. Way better than a mat which I've used previously these tiles can make maps as big or as small as you want and since it's reversible you can have things drawn on both sides. I like using that to reveal what's underneath a roof or in an unexplored room. You do have to buy dry erase markers but those are…

Pros
  • Great for creating both detailed and straightforward maps
Cons
  • Tiles may become discolored or faded after multiple uses

My Primary Mapping tool

First off, I didn't have any quality control issues that other reviewers have seen. Some of the lines don't match up perfectly from tile to tile but it has never caused an issue. These have nearly replaced my flip map. I really like being able to pre-draw rooms or tunnels (with wet-erase markers) ahead of a session and just plop them down when the characters can see them. It beats covering a pre-drawn map with paper or saying "pretend you can't see this part". On the occasions that I haven't…

Pros
  • Graphics are bright and colorful, improving the overall game experience
Cons
  • Lack of customization options for token designs
