Review on πŸ’« Renewed Samsung Galaxy A71 5G Fully Unlocked (128GB, Prism Cube Black) by Avut Bouchen ᠌

Revainrating 1 out of 5

My money wasted, product is terrible.

eaten after a period of six months: 1. DC Dimming, as far as I can tell, has been activated; other than that, everything has remained the same. 2. Six months after the initial purchase, the port on the phone failed, and it was unable to charge. Within an hour, the service was fixed under the terms of the guarantee. 3. There is clearly an issue with the rating, as it appears that automated software is contributing to the increase in stars. a year later, we now know that Samsung embeds an NFC identifier in its branded cases, and the automated on-off screen feature does not function with any third-party flip case. Because of foolishness like this, I'm going to have to downgrade my rating. a year and a half later, and a little bit more: after the warranty had expired, the port failed again, and the phone stopped charging once more. That is, it would appear that there are issues with the phone's design, which is why it should receive a low grade. Another theory offered was that the issue was not with the port itself but rather with the cable connectors that linked the charging board to the motherboard. This theory was eventually disproved. Soldering two wires in parallel to the cable allows skilled workers to circumvent the issue. You may determine whether or not this is the case by applying a small amount of pressure to the rear of the phone. Disrespect shown on Samsung for having such design flaws.

Pros
  • It is not sluggish, it has an interface and form factor that are relatively simple and user-friendly, and it features an excellent primary camera (the ultra-wide one is worse, the other two are generally useless). Both a minijack and a slot for a memory card are present; thank the good Lord for that!
Cons
  • There are some peculiar and vexing things to deal with. 1. Screen. In the first place, it is possible to spot minor flaws such as unevenness, stripes, and so on. Second, it does not appear to have DC Dimming, and when the brightness is turned down, it flickers. Thirdly, it acts very strangely when scrolling, as if there is a lag between turning off some pixels and turning on others; on dark colors, it appears to be artifacts, and on light colors, it appears to be blinking. This occurs even when the brightness is set to its lowest level. It would appear that IPS is superior in most circumstances. 2. There are ads, like Xiaomi. In addition to the advertisements that may be turned off, Samsung Pay also includes one that cannot be turned off by the user. 3. The always-on display (AOD) is supported by the branded case that comes with S View, but in a very strange and inconvenient way: without a case, AOD is able to show notification icons, but with a case - only a clock; in order for the icons to appear, you need to either raise the phone or press the power button. It goes without saying that the icons are drawn on every official picture, yet this is an elaborate deception. 4. The battery seems to have an odd behavior; at times it seems to discharge quickly, and at other times it seems to discharge slowly. It seems as though the setting to "optimize battery utilization" does not work for all programs or does not always operate. 5. The function to create a copy of the application is restricted to instant messengers, and even then, not all of them. This allowed me to log into the banking application on Xiaomi using the account that I have with my wife that we both share. 6. There are no recordings made of calls; however, everyone has stopped using them now (there is no need for ordinary people to record their calls, only special services should do this).
