I love the smell of this oil. It's not overwhelming. Subtly and without yelling at everyone in the room that you have cedar scented oil in your beard. The smell goes away quite quickly, but it is the blindness of the nose. Others still smell it after I can't, but they only smell it when I'm around them. It's a beard oil, not a cologne. It takes care of my beard very well. It seems that when possible, this special oil is more easily absorbed by the hair. I notice more softening and effects from this oil than others I've tried. You'll love it, but if you're looking for an oil with a strong aroma, then this isn't for you. I really like the packaging and the smell of roasted cedar. To me it has a smoky undertone. By the way, mosquitoes really avoid me for the first few hours after application. This is a plus. The best beard oil I've ever tried! Super happy. I'll try Opium Den by The Bearded Bastard here soon.
