Avoid, weak and cheap hardware.
Hardware is cheap and easily stripped. Hand tighten only, power tools will definitely ruin the product. Because of the hand tightening, its hard to really tighten down the rails for wind resistance such as hauling a kayak. Company doesn't have replacement hardware and the reply to my request was riddled with spelling and grammar errors which leads me to believe they're not in it for a quality product. The bolts on mine rusted solid to the nut in a single year now it is an unusable piece of scrap. I can't recommend, find something else that was created with commons sense.
