Pretty strong for dampers, struts and suspension
Bought these for a hatch in the bottom of a tree house I'm building for the kids. This is a complete framing of 2x4 and 5/4 decking approximately 30"x30". I had to rearrange it a few times as it had just lifted a heavy door without my intervention. It just opened up as soon as you let go. One star removed as I had to make my own bracket for one end to mount to the side of the opening in the frame. The included brackets only allow mounting directly in line with the pistons, which worked great for opening the sunroof. There is nothing to slide at the bottom ends as it is a hole.
