15Inch Gas Spring Struts Lift Supports For Tonneau Cover Truck Canopy Camper Shell (Jet Black Review

Cylinders work great on the side panels of my ladder rack/kayak rack. The cylinders lift the side panels (with solar panels attached) out of the way for access to items in the back of the pickup.

Used this to lift a heavy chicken coop lid. Once in the correct position, they allow the lid to be lifted and closed easily and effortlessly. It worked so well my parents decided to mount the set on top of an RV bed to lift and store underneath.

I have used this gas spring on a toy box I am building for my two grandchildren and it works great. The only thing I did wrong was I bought 2 heavy duty 67# gas springs which had a hard time closing the top. I removed one page and it works better. I am thinking of buying 2 springs 45# to see if they work better but for now spring 1 67# is working great.

Bought these for a hatch in the bottom of a tree house I'm building for the kids. This is a complete framing of 2x4 and 5/4 decking approximately 30"x30". I had to rearrange it a few times as it had just lifted a heavy door without my intervention. It just opened up as soon as you let go. One star removed as I had to make my own bracket for one end to mount to the side of the opening in the frame. Stand appears solid but instructions are poor at best. I tried to put them in a place where gas struts had never been before. I had a hard time identifying a spot with multiple holes drilled. I also felt that the recommendation for my application (for use in RVs to raise one end of a double bed storage compartment) was a bit over the top. I could easily switch to 80 lb racks with acceptable results. The instructions are poor at best, I would say they are a good replacement for braces already…
