Gets the job done quickly and the first time.

This durable plastic platter is an easy to use tool and fits perfectly onto the turntable spindle. on the). My tonearm is perfectly straight and centered on the arm's circular axis, so it was easy to use the arm itself and get it in a perfectly straight position on the centerline of the Geo Disc. You then attach the disc to the player to keep it from spinning while you set it up as directed, then tighten the cartridge. Before using the Geo Disc, make sure the player is level and attach the cassette. (but keep the screws slightly loose to adjust), balance the arm counterweight and adjust the anti-skating. You don't need to use the protrusion tool, even the one that comes with some newer cartridges, as this tool does it for you if you line up the needle with the white circle you drew. The only thing you need to adjust after using this tool is your VTA (Vertical Arm Height Adjustment, which the Geo Disc doesn't help with) and you're good to go. on the first try, because my channels sound balanced, without distortion. I recommend this tool, but I agree that the price could have been lower as this hard plastic drive shouldn't cost very much to make and mold.
