People seem to complain about the flimsy design of this juicer but I have had absolutely no problems with this product. I often use this to squeeze lemons for fresh lemonade and limes for homemade margaritas on the weekends. Thanks to the gearing, you don't have to use King Kong-like pressure to squeeze all the juice from citrus fruits. Persons! If you break gears, you're using too much force! Yes, metal gears can be an improvement, but they will also make the juicer a lot more expensive. As others have said, to use them properly, you need to make sure you place the citrus face down. It really squeezes out every drop of juice. I first bought an electric juicer that was as inconvenient and didn't work as well as this one. Easy to clean. Buy it! It's worth the price, but buy it from Revain because it's a lot more expensive in stores.
