Shreds wood quick for my opinion

I have the eight inch half round in coarse. Both sides have teeth, one side is flat, the teeth go all the way around including the edges, and It cuts in all directions unlike a traditional rasp that only cuts in one. Shredded through a natural fork slingshot like it was butter. Ruffed it out in about an hour. It was some kind of Pine wood so it was a soft wood. I have more forks to go though of like twenty Eucalyptus wood, a couple mystery forks, and this rasp is going to help me build inventory. So when I get through them I’ll update how well it holds up along with some of the projects it’s been used to do.

Pros
  • Easy to Control: Their unique multi-directional cutting action is great for confined spaces. They quickly and easily cut with or against the grain with incredibly smooth cutting action on ALL sides of the rasp.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with a sawhorse or workbench
