Review on GA2 Fat Ergon Grips by Ognjen Cao

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very comfortable - grips

I've had the regular sized GA2 on my full suspension MTB for about a year and really liked the ergonomic shape but never felt it made enough mistakes on rough terrain pardon. . As I progressed to longer, faster rides and bigger jumps, the grips became too thin for my hands. I don't have big hands (I wear it like a size M glove) but it was pretty easy to settle on the GA2 FAT grips. Same ergonomic shape as conventional grips, but around 2 mm thicker all around. After riding fast, I can already say that the thicker rubber makes them more comfortable to grip and also offers more cushioning. I will update this review after a few more trips. For the curious, regular GA2s taper from 32mm on the outside to 30mm. GA2 Fat grips start at 34mm and taper to 32mm.

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
