Great for big hands

I have tried many larger grips for my large hands. Oury, Odie Rogue and even Wolffang's fat paw. I thought I had settled on fat feet, but I was starting to miss the texture of regular rubber grips. Also, they were almost too thick and felt a bit fuzzy on the trail. I've noticed that I can't steer and grab them as precisely, and they don't last long if you hit a tree. I just tried these Ergon GA2 greases and they seem pretty good. They're noticeably thicker than regular grips, but feel…

Big hands are great on you

I can't say enough good things about this grip. I replaced the factory grips on my new Giant bike with these and what a difference. I've used Ga3s before and really liked them, but I wasn't too happy with the angle adjustment. But with it - no fatigue when driving. To be clear, I have XL hands and on tight trails with steep cliffs or hard descents I would have a firm grip on the handlebars. Trails like this made my forearms sore and my fingers numb from clinging to flimsy handles. They work…

Great grips! Ergonomic support with a traditional profile.

With a traditional profile, these grips offer good ergonomic support. Both their design and their material make them comfortable and efficient. My wrists are the weak link in cycling. I have used a range of quality grips including ergonomic designs but without much success, adequate at best. In preparation for my first century, I wanted good pens and read a lot of reviews. They were among the best in every respect. I comfortably rode a hundred miles (12 hours on a hilly/mountain trail) that day

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Very comfortable - grips

I've had the regular sized GA2 on my full suspension MTB for about a year and really liked the ergonomic shape but never felt it made enough mistakes on rough terrain pardon. . As I progressed to longer, faster rides and bigger jumps, the grips became too thin for my hands. I don't have big hands (I wear it like a size M glove) but it was pretty easy to settle on the GA2 FAT grips. Same ergonomic shape as conventional grips, but around 2 mm thicker all around. After riding fast, I can already…

Grippy thick grips for big hands

Pros: Thick slick Correct minimal contour Light weight One-Lock plastic push rod ends that haven't fallen out yet Cons: You'll never go back to skinny grips. I hate big ESI knobs. The foam is too hard when you FINALLY press it against your hand. And even that is minimal. I've tried several other "thick" grips but none were comfortable enough and/or grippy enough. Ergon does smart things. These grips are perfect for small hands. Their rubber is perfect for grip and comfort. Even better if it…

Good grips with a terrible hardware failure

Selling my XC bike with Ergon GA3 grips (the ones with the "wings") because I've been riding more enduro trails lately. Put them on a new enduro bike so I have better hand contact on the descents. After adjustment they feel pretty good so I have no complaints. The numbness has reduced compared to my old Oury but hasn't gone away like it did on my GA3. BIG VS – Ergon grips are designed so you have to move them a lot (on the trail) to get the angle you want, depending on your riding and cockpit…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Great grip but damn pegs fall out all the time

I ride trails regularly and bought these for my Trek Fuel. My friend had this problem but thought it was specific to his bars. Even if you hit a tree, the end cap will fall out. If you walk the trails twice a week, this happens very often. Every time my friend and I approach a tree, we have to stop and wander around the neighborhood as if looking for a lost contact. So annoying considering the forks to replace are $10 a pair and it happens so often. Fork issues aside, these grips are amazing. I
