Review on 🚲 CURT 18013 Clamp-On Trailer Hitch Bike Rack Mount: 3-Bike Carrier for 2-Inch Shank, Black - Efficient & Stylish! by Chris Lujan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A GREAT tow RV bike rack even in the 2 " mount. Tie down straps are an issue.

This rack worked great with our RV's standard 2" hitch. We have a towable Jeep 4x4 and two Fat Tire e-bikes that we call our "two-wheel jeeps.” The Curtis post is perfectly clamped, it takes a good push to lock securely (which is good), but be careful when you're using it release - there was also a pull pin backup as a backup. Curtis found this stance a good and successful feature. Features two mounting clips with stabilizing fabric straps with padded hooks to limit lateral swaying, another thoughtful touch from Curtis. The two folding bike stands have cable Wire ball lock pins which is another nice touch to keep them from getting lost On an F bike carriers, the six multi-loop bike mount straps (6) are simply *NOT* pliable/flexible enough to be used. We ditched them immediately and just used velcro (velcro and loop) to hold the bikes in padded supports. You can buy this $18 Velcro product from Revain and cut your own very strong specialty restraint straps (Brand Name VELCRO - ONE-WRAP Roll, Double-Sided, Self-Locking, Multi-Purpose Velcro, Reusable, 45 ft x 1 1/2") . 2" roll - black) and you'll have more than enough to handle all your water hoses, extensions and tools in your shed, garage or shop! It is also available at home centers at a higher price.
