I buy a case or two of this protein shake brand every chance I get, in case of SHTF, in case of food shortages during a pandemic. I had obesity surgery a year ago and getting the required grams of protein per day is essential to my weight loss and health so these RTD shakes are a real must and it was the ONLY brand I could drink, without giving me up! And they're one of the few brands I've been able to buy them from with SNAP ebt. I just can't afford to buy spoiled food! Just opened this case, took 4 packs, took them to the fridge to load along with the cocktails. I wasn't really looking when I grabbed the first bottle by the plastic cap, so I didn't see the cocktail seep completely through the top of the ascetic's container and rotted around the spout, so when I grabbed it by the cap, the whole thing Plastic spout just popped out causing me to drop the container of sour cocktail on me, the counter and the floor. I almost threw up from the smell. All in all, I found that NINE of the 12 bottles had broken spouts with varying degrees of rot visible around them! What is happening in your bottling plant? Where is the quality control? How can I continue to drink ANY of your products if I can't be assured that you follow the highest standards of quality control in manufacturing and packaging? In fact, your company isn't the only one I've come across with bad packaging. Since the start of this damn pandemic and the cuts in FDA regulations, it looks like the food packaging industry as a whole is seeing a dramatic drop in quality and safety testing! Before Covid19 I had less than 5 instances in over 40 years where I bought a packaged food product and found a broken seal or open/damaged inner packaging. But since I've had Covid (including this one), 13 packaged groceries, vitamins and over-the-counter medicines arrive with broken (or none!) internal seals, torn packaging, foil pouches with open seams, and contents spoiled or unsafe.for use. But this experience stands above all! Seriously, NINE out of 12? I'm totally disgusted, I'm sick. I still have the suitcase plus 2 containers of this brand's protein powder version (I finally have a blender) but I'm afraid to use any of this - and there are no other high/very protein brands out there. Low carb/no artificial sweeteners, plant-based drinks are available - at least the ones I can afford to buy (or drink without vomiting) on a regular basis.
