With the outbreak of COVID at my children's school, every student's temperature had to be checked daily. They used a battery-powered handheld scanner that took about 4 seconds to measure. They had several batteries a day. I bought this tin can, used the included USB-C to USB-A cable to plug it into an outlet, and had it wall mounted at school. Then kids can just walk up, take their temperature in 1 second, no hassle, no fuss. Worked so well we bought a second unit and installed it about 18 inches lower so younger kids could use it too. Studying for five weeks, more than 100 measurements a day, no problem. I recommend this product 100%.
